APPRENTICE GARAGE PROGRAM
Similar to approaches from organizations such as IBM, Google and Microsoft, the INSPIRE Apprenticeship Program engages teams of students in experiential-learning projects that tackle real-world, society-impactful problems. Guided by industry mentors, the student teams apply the state-of-the-practice techniques and technologies in science and engineering fields (software, electrical, mechanical or civil) through phases of problem and stakeholder analysis, design thinking, solution prototyping and validation and MVP presentation. The teams are also provided with training in effective strategies for working in diverse and inclusive multicultural teams.
