BRIDGING ROOTS

In this four-month-long software development program, our team is building an application that will be used to educate communities on the traditional knowledge, language, pronunciation, and history of the Indigenous community on whose traditional territory they reside. As a starting point, we are currently working with students in Tuktoyaktuk, NWT to create a proof of concept for their community. Our goal is that the application will be scalable to cover other communities across Canada.
