During our recent sprint, we faced a significant challenge when integrating our widget into Brightspace proved unfeasible, prompting a necessary pivot to a web application. This change expands our development scope and allows for greater flexibility, although it raises concerns about effectively meeting the needs of our primary users—neurodivergent students. We are optimistic about gaining visibility through a link on the UVic student help page. As a team, we have diligently focused on programming core functionalities in preparation for the mid-term conference, recognizing the importance of adaptability in project management. Our strength, resilience, and determination shone through as we navigated this transition, underscoring our commitment to innovating under pressure. This sprint has showcased our collective perseverance, and we are eager to gather user feedback to refine our product, ultimately creating a supportive resource that can make a meaningful difference in the lives of neurodivergent students.
