This sprint was a short sprint with 5 working days. Despite its short duration, we made the most of it and learned as much as we could. Our primary goal for this sprint was to create a short video for mid conference , while also continuing the development of the software. From brainstorming to shooting and editing, the entire process was exciting, and we were pleased with the final result. We also had a meeting with our community partner that was slightly different this time due to the presence of new guests. Presenting our progress and receiving their feedback and suggestions made the session both engaging and productive. This sprint we also worked on the patient profile page, which was technically challenging due to the need for complex queries and view models, requiring careful organization and significant time investment.
A key challenge we faced this sprint was managing the intense focus required for both video editing and software development within a tight timeframe.The pressure to meet the video deadline while simultaneously pushing forward on app features led to some stress.Collaborating under tight deadlines gave us the opportunity to tackle complex problems and apply our skills in meaningful ways. Despite the challenges, we found great satisfaction in the process. It was rewarding to see the design come together.
The lesson learned from this experience is the importance of better time management and prioritization when handling multiple task. It’s crucial to allocate time for both creative and technical work without overwhelming oneself, and to recognize when to seek support or adjust deadlines.
In the upcoming sprint, our focus will shift to developing the Analytics and Dashboard components of the system. To enhance documentation and planning, we will transition to using Azure DevOps. Our goal for the next sprint is to provide usernames and passwords for general user roles, enabling them to test and give feedback. The journey is becoming increasingly exciting and challenging, but we’re prepared to tackle and overcome these hurdles.
