AI for Non-Profits 2025

This term, our team designed and built ActionHub, an AI-powered tool created specifically for non-profits. We worked through research, design, and prototyping to understand the daily challenges non-profits face, especially around managing meetings, follow-ups, tasks, and donor communication. Based on this, we developed an Action Hub that uses AI to capture context from meetings and messages, organize tasks, and suggest follow-ups, while keeping humans in control. Our solution reduces administrative workload and helps non-profits stay organized so they can focus more on their mission.

Our community partner is Meaningful, a company based out of Vancouver that is dedicated to connecting non-profits with volunteers and donors. They are developing an innovative system to support non-profits in crafting compelling fundraising content and expanding their donor outreach. Our team is focused on helping achieve this goal using AI-assisted text generation tools to enhance the quality, relevance, and impact of their campaigns, ultimately driving stronger engagement with potential donors.
